Gluttony (Seven Deadlies MC Book 3) Page 8
Her labored breathing was the only sound between them as he tugged on the ends of her blouse and ripped it in two, sending buttons flying. The price of the shirt didn’t even register as the silk fell to the floor, revealing her breasts. Scarlett pushed his cut from his broad shoulders, her fingers taking the time to reacquaint herself with the warmth of him.
He grunted under his breath when she nipped at the side of his neck, drawing the dewy skin between her teeth and sucking hard enough to leave a mark.
“You tryin’ to brand me, babygirl?”
Scarlett huffed a breath and looked up into his dark eyes, shrugging as she slid from her pants.
“I plead the fifth.”
Limit’s mouth twisted into a sexy smirk that had her pussy wet in an instant.
“Say something dirty, Scarlett. Make it filthy, and I promise I’ll make you come.”
She was thankful her cheeks were already flushed otherwise she’d be blushing like a nun at his words. As he pulled his shirt over his head, she found herself marveling at his body. All scars and tattoos and smooth, tan skin…
“Let’s hear it, baby. Tell me somethin’ dirty,” He demanded as he reached for the button on his jeans.
Scarlett was still watching him when she sucked in a breath and nodded.
“I…,” She trailed off when he looked up at her from beneath his perfect lashes. She caught a sight of his dimples, and knew then and there that Limit was the only man she’d ever lose her head over.
“Come on,” He urged.
“I finger-fucked myself to the thought of you at least a hundred times. The way you feel inside me, the way you bend my body to your will,” She admitted.
She was blushing now, but Limit didn’t stop to take notice.
He stripped out of his pants and stepped out of boxers before he kicked them aside and strode towards her.
They were both completely naked, and when he pressed her against his chest, she sighed with relief.
“Good girl,” He growled.
He lifted her up in his arms and wrapped her legs around his waist before he pressed her against a wall.
The cold surface was harsh against her warm body, but she didn’t care.
It only added to the sensation of his mouth, wet and open, against her collar bone.
Good girl, I’m his good girl…
Limit’s teeth scraped against the underside of her right breast as he sucked her pebbled nipple into his hot, hot mouth. Scarlett whimpered, she couldn’t help herself.
She scaled the back of his head with her nails as she shuddered against his rough hold.
His hard cock brushed against the inside of her thigh, so close to her throbbing cunt that Scarlett ground her hips against his just to get closer.
Closer, closer, closer.
“Do you feel how fuckin’ hard you make me? I’ve been hard like this for weeks, babygirl. Thinkin’ about your tight little body wrapped around me,” He whispered gruffly as he palmed both her tits and pressed his mouth against hers.
Scarlett squirmed against his hard body, her hand snaking down to wrap around his velvety smooth dick as she arched herself against him.
Limit wasted no more time as he thrust inside of her, his palms meeting the wall above her head.
Scarlett used that chance to wrap her hands around the back of his neck as he kissed her deeply, his tongue clashing with hers.
Her thighs were shaking as he slid out of her completely only to slam home again, his forehead pressed against hers.
“So good, so good,” He murmured.
Scarlett found herself crying out his name, the only name stuck in her head on replay for weeks. He was muttering in her ear, saying something she couldn’t quite understand, but that didn’t matter- especially not when he slid one hand between them and circled her clit as if they were old friends.
“Yes, yes,” She whispered fervently.
“Let me hear you ask for it,” Limit demanded.
His light eyes were practically black, his irises were so dilated- he looked like a demon ready to devour her soul, and Scarlett wasn’t entirely sure he wasn’t.
“Make me come, please let me come,” She begged.
Limit only smirked in the dark, the shadows playing across his face like a second skin.
“That’s my good girl,” He huffed from between clenched teeth.
Scarlett tried not to take his words to his heart, she wasn’t his, and probably never would be…
But, he made good on his promise.
As his fingers rubbed against her clit his tongue rubbed against hers and in no time at all, she was gripping his shoulders to keep herself steady as her orgasm crashed through her. Her heart was pounding, her blood was roaring in her ears, and her body.
Well, if she wasn’t holding onto Limit, she was sure she’d be floating.
“Fuck, you’re so sexy when you come by my hand. This pussy is mine. Say it.”
His words came out only slightly higher than a growl, and the sound had her shivering.
Scarlett rushed to appease him.
“It’s yours,” She said breathily.
Limit ducked his head and trailed his nose along the curve of her cheek before his mouth met the shell of her ear, “Tell me you’re mine. Say it. Just this once. ”
Just this once…
Scarlett groaned when he almost slid out of her completely before roughly slamming into her again, making every nerve ending in her pussy sing all at once.
“I’m yours, Limit.”
Scarlett’s eyes shot open when he kissed her gently and lifted her into arms, spinning her around so that she was laid out on his bed on her belly.
“On your knees, Scarlett.”
Scarlett scrambled to her knees, willing to give him whatever he wanted if he’d only make her come one more time.
She felt his calloused palms skate across the backs of her thighs before she heard a shuffle and felt his cock at the mouth of her pussy again.
“Hold onto the headboard,” Limit ordered.
Scarlett glanced at him over her shoulder, her thighs clenched together.
He nodded towards the headboard, his brow furrowed.
Scarlett took that moment to admire his hard body; all shadowy planes of sinewy muscle and tattoos and damn was he fine.
As her fingers wrapped around the headboard, his hands gripped her hips, and she felt his cock press against her clit.
She hissed, looked back at him over her shoulder as his big body wrapped around her like a storm cloud.
“You’re gonna take all of this cock like a good girl, aren’t you?,” He asked.
Scarlett felt a glimmer of fear at his words, but she’d already taken him twice now; she could do it again.
She wanted to please him the way he pleased her.
She could relinquish control again, just like she had that first night.
“Yes,” She whispered.
Limit slid home then, his big cock filling her almost to the point of pain; the new angle was surely what made the difference. Her painted fingernails curled around his headboard as he thrust into her again and again. He wrapped one hand around her waist from behind, palmed her breasts while his teeth nipped at the back of her sweaty neck.
She was panting, but then so was he. Obviously together, they made magic. It had to be, because Scarlett was still in awe of just how well he seemed to know her body.
Yeah, magic had to be exactly what was happening between them.
“You feel so good,” She whined when he hit her g-spot again.
Limit grunted before he buried his hand in her hair and yanked hard, bringing her entire body back against him.
“You’re mine, babygirl. Mine.”
His fervent words sparked between them like a flash of lightning, and it burned her to her soul.
Scarlett agreed, if only to make the moment last a little longer.
She wrapped one hand around his forearm and worked her hips against him,
squirming to get closer, to get more.
If she could have all of him for one night, she’d take it.
Just as her orgasm began to crest, Limit swore under his breath. His jerky thrusts matched hers, his breath filling her ear as he fucked her hard.
The hand pressed against her chest slid upwards to gently wrap around her neck as he buried his face in the crook of her shoulder, his scruff scraping against her soft skin.
He swore under his breath as his jerky movements slowed, as they came together.
Scarlett was still coming down from her orgasm when she felt his lips kiss a trail along her shoulder, his tongue leaving behind wet spots that caught on the breeze and gave her goosebumps.
Limit wrapped a hand around her waist to steady himself as he laid down on the bed beside her.
He reached for her, no questions asked, his arms outstretched.
He’s going to hold me.
Fuck it all, he’s going to hold me just like he said he would.
As Scarlett fell into his arms, she tried not to think about how perfectly she fit there. As if they were two pieces of a puzzle, and together they just worked.
Limit didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms tightly around her as he nuzzled the hair on top of her head.
Scarlett wanted to ask him what was happening between them, but she didn’t dare.
Instead, she closed her eyes as he pulled his comforter over the both of them, her entire body exhausted from not only their lovemaking, but the events of the day.
His…
He called me his…
Chapter 12
Scarlett awoke with a start, her hair falling into her face.
The warm body next to her stirred, but didn’t wake.
As she blinked away the bleariness, she made out the steady lines of Limit’s body, his handsome face completely relaxed as he slept.
She couldn’t stop herself from running a hand along his cheek, admiring the straight line of his nose and his thick lashes as they brushed his high cheeks.
As much as she didn’t want to, she knew she had to leave before he woke.
Shit, before Ox woke!
As quietly as she could, she slid into her pants…and then realized her shirt was basically done for after the behemoth lying in the bed had ripped it in two. Always one to improvise, she tied it up under her breasts like some backwoods version of a cut-off and swiped her boots from the end of his bed. Even though she didn’t want to leave him, she knew it was best.
A man like Limit didn’t like strings.
She figured if she took them with her, he’d have no reason to worry.
As she closed his bedroom door behind her, a familiar voice had her clenching her eyes closed.
“Walk of shame, huh? Yeah, I’ve done a few of those myself.”
A tattoed hand belonging to none other than Green wrapped around her shoulders and she scoffed.
“Where’s Emily? Didn’t she have to do this herself?,” She quipped.
Green laughed.
“Nah. She wasn’t ashamed. You? Honey, it’s written all over your pretty face,” Green said.
“I’m not ashamed, per se. I just know that Limit doesn’t do relationships, so I’m taking away the pressure,” She said as she ran her fingers through her tangled hair.
Green chuckled under his breath as they entered the great room, his green eyes glinting in the sunlight.
“Smart woman, but I wouldn’t make presumptions. Limit likes you.”
As much as she wanted to hear that, she wanted to speak to Ox more.
Besides, it wasn’t making presumptions if Limit had told her himself it was a one time thing..
“Have you seen my…Ox?,” She asked.
Green nodded towards the office she’d spent time in yesterday.
“Getting ready for church. He should still be in there.”
“Church? On a Wednesday?”
Green laughed as he released her from his hold, his muscular arm falling to his side.
“While many of us don’t attend church on account of us more than likely burstin’ into flames, church is code for a club meeting. Shouldn’t take too long today, we don’t have anything important besides Rayna and Fury’s wedding,” Green explained.
Scarlett let all of that sink in before she patted his shoulder.
“Thanks, Green. If you see Emily, tell her I’ll check in with her later.”
He nodded and saluted her, sending a wink in her direction.
She laughed a little as she turned away, catching Torch’s eye over the bar top.
He nodded in her direction and she sent him a small wave.
As she neared Ox’s office, she heard voices and she knew he was on the phone with her mother.
“Damn it, Maddie! She’s my daughter. Not only did you leave me in the fuckin’ wind, but you kept her from me! I don’t know what she excepted to find here yesterday, but it certainly wasn’t an outlaw biker club!”
He sounded angry, and she almost turned back and left him alone, but she figured twenty-two years was long enough, to leave him on his own.
Besides, she was mad at her mother for the very same reason.
She couldn't blame him for being angry.
As she stepped over the threshold and into his office, he eyed her top momentarily before shaking his head.
Scarlett got the idea that her ruined blouse wasn’t high on Ox's list of things to worry about.
She felt much the same.
“I have to go, she just walked in. Yeah, have a good day to you too,” He spat before he slammed his phone closed and tossed it onto his desk.
As he stood, she had to smile, because she recognized the look on his face; she’d worn it so many times, and it was nice to see where it originated from.
“Morning,” She said.
He finally smiled and nodded.
“Would have been, had your mother not called,” He said.
As she slid into a chair, she waited for him to sit.
“I know you have church or whatever, but I was wondering if you would tell me what happened between you two.”
Ox sighed and ran a hand through his hair, the very same shade of brown as hers.
“It’s a long story, but to make it simple…we were young. In love. I knew she came from a different way of life, and to her family I was the boy from the ‘wrong side of the tracks’. Maddie was just so…different. She loved adventure, ya know? Craved the danger, and I needed that. I needed someone who understood what this life meant, and your mother understood. She thought she could handle it, and it turned out she couldn’t.”
Ox had his ringed fingers resting on his desk top as he looked up at her.
“I don’t blame her for wanting better, especially if she was pregnant. I didn’t blame her before I knew about you either, I just want you to know that.”
For some reason, the sad expression on his face had Scarlett tearing up, and she reached for his hand the exact same time he reached for hers.
“It’s going to take some getting used to… all of this,” She said as she gestured at the room.
Ox’s face lit up with something she thought resembled hope.
“You mean, we didn’t scare you away?”
Scarlett choked out a strangled laugh before she looked down at her lap.
“I won’t lie and tell you that I’m not completely thrown here, because I am. But, there’s something me and mama have in common, Ox. I like adventure, too. I've been craving it for years, I just didn't know how to find it. And, this place? Teeming with it, I’m afraid.”
Ox chuckled at her bluntness before he rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb.
“You stayed with Limit last night, huh?”
She winced at the mention of her bed mate and nodded.
“Weird for you?”
Ox’s eyes crinkled at the question as he grinned.
“I’ll tell you the same thing I told him. I can’t tell you who to sleep with, sweetheart. B
ut, Limit? Well, he’s not like the rest of us. He’s hard. I’m not saying he’ll hurt you. He would never lay a hand on you, Scarlett. But, I don’t think you’ll find a happily ever after with him, either.”
Scarlett wasn’t sure that’s what she was looking for, and truthfully, she didn’t know if Limit was capable of that either.
“I know, Ox.”
“I just want you to be careful. I won’t hound either one of ya, but I want you to be careful,” He said.
Scarlett squeezed his hand.
“Maddie called you?”
He flinched at the mention of her name, and Scarlett knew in that instant that he was more affected by her mother than he would like to admit.
“Yeah, she wanted to see how it went between us.”
“Why didn’t she just call me?”
Ox shrugged.
“She said you weren’t answering, and she got worried.”
Scarlett instantly felt her pockets for her phone and realized that she must have left it in Limit’s room- something that had her stomach turning.
Could she face him after what they’d done?
He held me all night long.
He isn’t so bad.
With the awkwardness she was about to face in the forefront of her mind, she bit her bottom lip.
“How did mom leave?”
Ox dropped her hand and motioned towards the lot.
“We were going to elope. Her parents, your grandparents, never would have agreed to us gettin’ married, so we decided to have a ceremony here. My father, your other grandfather, loved her like his own. He was going to perform the ceremony. He thought the world of Maddie…I waited for hours that day, but by the time the sun set, I knew she wasn’t coming. I tried calling, writing, everything…but after a year of trying I never heard back from her,” He said, sounding forlorn.
Scarlett hadn’t heard that story yet- her mother had been very brief on her details about their relationship- but it hurt Scarlett just the same.
“I’m so sorry,” She whispered.
Ox looked broken for only a second before he waved her off.
“Nah, don’t be. It was for the best. All I ever wanted was for her to be happy.”
Neither one of them mentioned the fact that Maddie didn’t have much time left to be happy; she was sick, and no matter how much Scarlett begged her mother to let her stay home and take care of her, she’d urged her to move to North Carolina and spend time with Emily. Start her life over, away from prying eyes and away from Scott.
